Aarish Hirdaramani lives in Sri Lanka and was born in 2013.
- Aarish is very passionate about sports. He is the basketball and soccer captain (aka “football” in Asia) of his school and also plays tennis competitively in Sri Lanka.
- He is interested in historical events, geography (including all sorts of maps) and is a big foodie.
- Aarish’s favorite books are Holes by Louis Sachar, Legacy and the Queen by Annie Matthew and Kobe Bryant, and Shoe Wars by Liz Pichon.
- In the future, Aarish would like to be an entrepreneur in the fields of AI, architecture, and sports.
“I think it's important, as a reporter, and in life, to see the world from all different perspectives so we can understand each other better. I have a unique viewpoint because I look at the world as a Sri Lankan fro a small island, but also an American, where I spend a lot of time in New York, a big city.”
