About the Scholastic News Kids Press Corps

The award-winning News Kids Press Corps is a group of talented Kid Reporters, ages 10-14, from across the country and around the world. Since 2000, our young journalists have reported "news for kids, by kids," with coverage of breaking news, entertainment, and sports events from their hometowns and on the national stage. Their stories appear online and in issues of Scholastic Classroom Magazines, which reach more than 25 million students in classrooms nationwide.

Scholastic News Kid Reporters have made headlines by interviewing newsmakers including former President Barack Obama, composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, conservationist Jane Goodall, Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden, Dog Man author and illustrator Dav Pilkey, NFL quarterback Nick Foles, and more.
